Michael Weinstein

Michael Weinstein has been in the photography business for over 30 years, working initially as a portrait and fashion photographer. After moving to New York from Chicago, he transitioned into architecture and real estate photography and founded MW Studio. His work has been included in numerous architectural photography books, as well as national and international magazines.

Stephanie Powell

With an M.F.A. in Photography from the Art Institute of Chicago and a B.F.A in Studio Art from the University of Oregon, Stephanie Powell has over twenty years experience as a photographer, artist and educator. In addition to working with us, Stephanie is also an internationally exhibiting artist who has recently been featured in Flaunt magazine and I Heart Photography. She is also a visiting associate professor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She has worked for MW Studio for over five years and brings her artistic eye to each shoot. 

 

Udom Surangsophon

Originally from Thailand, Udom moved to New York City in 1985. He studied studio art at Hunter College and subsequently received a Masters in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology. For over twenty years Udom has worked with New York City architects, interior designers and magazines on special projects. His work has appeared in national and international magazines such as Architectural Records, Metropolitan Homes, Wallpaper, Elle Decoration, The New York Times and others. He has worked for MW Studio for eight years and brings his own unique perspective to each shoot.

Sonia Paulino

Sonia’s photographs have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in the United States and abroad, including the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, the California Museum of Photography, Daniel Azoulay Gallery in Miami, Florida, and Estación Tijuana in Tijuana, Mexico. Sonia is the recipient of various honors and awards, such as the 2010 Outwin Boochever People’s Choice Award at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, and Honorable Mention for The World-Wide Photography Gala Robert Cornelius Award for Portraiture. Sonia currently resides in Brooklyn, New York, where she absorbs the limitless cultural experiences while honing her art practice as well as her architectural and real estate photography.

Ayumi Tanaka

A Japanese-born, internationally known artist, Ayumi trained in photography at both Osaka University of Arts in Japan and the International Center for Photography. Her personal work has been shown internationally in Japan, Germany, and throughout the United States. Ayumi brings an artist's delicate touch to each image she retouches.
